Conversion Funnel
A conversion funnel is a marketing model that illustrates the journey a potential buyer takes from initial awareness to final purchase. It helps businesses understand customer behavior, optimize engagement strategies, and improve conversion rates by addressing pain points at each stage.
The three main phases of a conversion funnel are:
- Awareness Stage – The buyer recognizes a problem or need. Marketing efforts focus on increasing brand visibility through SEO, content marketing, social media, and paid ads to attract potential customers.
- Consideration Stage – The buyer actively researches solutions, comparing products or services. Businesses use case studies, testimonials, product comparisons, and email nurturing to guide prospects toward making an informed decision.
- Decision Stage – The buyer chooses a solution and completes a purchase. Offering free trials, discounts, live demos, or strong calls to action (CTAs) can help push the final conversion.
